Teaching will be divided evenly between lectures and practical sessions.
Lectures will include:
- underlying theory (fundamentals)
- basics of the measurement technique (method and limitations)
- practical details
- applications
Practical classes will be of three types:
- computer lab sessions (two students per computer),
- demonstrations (software and microscopy sessions via video projector),
- group discussions about a given technique or problem.
Several microscopes will be installed on-site for the whole of the two weeks for hands on experience.
